Praia do Ouvidor is a middle ground between the deserted Praia Vermelha and the bustling Barra da Ferrugem, its neighbors to the south and north, respectively. Although it does not have tourist infrastructure by the sea, its easy access by car (made by the road that leads to Praia do Rosa) and the permission to park in the sand, make it quite sought after by the locals and by some vacationers during the high season. It has exuberant nature, clear and firm sand, a small stream of drinking water, besides its beautiful trails to Praia Vermelha and to Barra da Ferrugem – this last one passing through dunes, archaeological sites and places suitable for fishing.
